It started in 6th grade at Woodward Academy, Anne Clare and I first met. By the end of 7th grade, we were "dating" (as much as 7th graders can), but after a solid week of middle school romance, we decided friendship suited us better.

Throughout high school, we stayed close friends, sharing classes and memories, even as life began to pull us in different directions. I went on to LSU, while Anne Clare headed to Ole Miss.

Fast forward to freshman year Mardi Gras in New Orleans—I spotted Anne Clare and her friends walking down the street and had to do a double take and say “Hey, I know her.” That chance moment rekindled our friendship, and we kept up with each other as much as we could.

By junior year, Anne Clare invited me to her sorority formal. I said yes. One month later, we were officially dating—and haven’t looked back since.

In May 2024, we both took off on a trip to Europe, where we got engaged at Nymphenburg Palace in Munich, Germany.

Five and a half years and one handsome and sophisticated cat later, we’re so excited to tie the knot and begin the next chapter of our lives together. We can’t wait to celebrate this journey with all of you!
